Youth access standard

Earn access.
Keep it accountable.

TENSILE’s youth path is deliberately narrower than adult access. The goal is to support developing athletes without treating a guardian checkbox as enough.

01Coach is reviewedEvery coach must be at least 18 and enter through owner-reviewed access.02Athlete is invitedNo open youth registration. The coach identifies the 13–17 age band and guardian.03Guardian verifiesThe listed parent or legal guardian signs in with the exact email and reviews each required confirmation.04Media stays optionalPrivate technique-video permission is separate. Training can continue without it.05Approval stays controllableWithdrawal pauses the athlete account and blocks training and uploads.

Who can participate

Coaches: age 18 or older. Athletes: age 13 or older. Athletes ages 13–17 require verified approval from a parent or legal guardian. Athletes under 13 are not available during the beta.

Training safety

Coaches remain responsible for appropriate programming, communication, supervision, and referral to qualified professionals. Athletes should report pain, stop when needed, and seek emergency or medical help outside TENSILE.

Reporting concerns

Choose “Youth safety or guardian consent” in TENSILE Support. These cases receive an urgent next-update target. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for an in-product response.

No shortcut around consent.

A coach cannot publish training to a minor account that lacks active guardian approval, and a minor cannot upload technique video unless the guardian separately enabled media.
