Information we use

Account identity and role; coach-athlete assignment; training programs, session entries, readiness, notes, support cases, and account activity; and optional technique videos.

For athletes under 18, TENSILE uses an age band rather than an exact birth date. We also record the guardian’s name, email, relationship, approval status, optional video choice, and decision time.

Why we use it

To provide the coaching workspace, protect private roster access, connect training evidence to the correct athlete and coach, resolve support issues, enforce guardian decisions, and protect the service from misuse.

Youth and media controls

Athletes under 13 are not eligible. Athletes ages 13–17 cannot activate an account until a parent or legal guardian verifies the listed email and approves access. Technique-video permission is optional and separate from training access. Withdrawal of approval pauses the athlete account.

Access and sharing

Training information is limited to the athlete, assigned coach, TENSILE owner, and authorized support access when needed to resolve a case. TENSILE does not provide public athlete profiles or public video links.

Security, retention, and choices

Private media is stored separately from public site assets, and important access actions are recorded. TENSILE keeps beta information only as long as needed to operate, secure, and evaluate the service or meet legal obligations. Guardians may withdraw approval through their original secure link. Members may use TENSILE Support for access, correction, or deletion requests.

Important boundary

TENSILE is coaching software, not medical care or an emergency service. Do not use it for emergencies or as a substitute for qualified healthcare.
